Saturday evening saw the Platteville Hillmen travel to Lancaster for a SWC make up game of postponed game earlier in January. The Hillmen, playing the second game in as many days, raced out to quick 11-0 start and never looked back as the defeated the Flying Arrows by a final score of 66-50.
The Hillmen got off to a fast start as Andy Eggers scored 15 of his game high 18 points in the first half, including three 3 point baskets. The Hillmen would lead by as many twenty points in the first half and take a 42–20 lead in the half time break. The Arrows would get no closer than twelve points in the second half and with the win the Hillmen improved to 5-1 in the SWC and 11-4 overall.
Three other Hillmen joined Eggers in double figures as Cade Rohrbach added 12 and Isaiah Oswald and Brandon Weigel also added 10 each.
The Hillmen return to action on Tuesday evening when they host the undefeated Darlington Redbirds with game time set for 6:00 PM at Platteville High School.
