Other Team Scores:
PLHS = 33 Elkhorn = 137
PLHS = 51 Burlington = 119
We continue to swim well. Our athletes are getting both season and lifetime bests, but Burlington and Elkhorn have strong programs with year round swimmers and a lot of depth. We managed to outscore Burlington in a few events, which was exciting. It shows that our athletes are working hard and continuously improving.
We were short-handed at this meet, unable to even have a full line up. But so was the The Prairie/St. Catherine’s. This meant that every swim mattered to both teams. Our guys really stepped up and the team results show it.
I’m pleased with how we’ve closed the gap between the first and second half of our races. Overall, it was where we need it to be. The splits in some of the longer events could have been better, but there were no real surprises. We’re where I would expect us to be as we move into the final third of the season.
