Allie Cooley would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Saturday, driving in six on three hits to lead Platteville Hillmen Varsity past Mineral Point 17-4 on Saturday. Cooley drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the second, a single in the fifth, and a groundout in the sixth.
Platteville Hillmen Varsity earned the victory despite allowing Mineral Point to score three runs in the fifth inning. K Kinch, #14, and L James each had RBIs in the frame.
Platteville Hillmen Varsity got things started in the first inning. when Platteville scored two runs when Cooley singled.
